What Colour of Bra to Choose
My friend and I loved the movie Heartbreakers. It was so funny that it became one of our all time favourite movie. What we also can’t forget were Jennifer Love Hewitt’s outfits. Her clothes then were low cut you can see her bra peeking out at times. Her bra was the same colour as what she wa
s wearing so it seemed as if it was part of the dress so it didn’t look slutty. It looked good instead. After the movie we were so inspired by her clothing coordination that we wanted to do the same. Later we realized that not all the colours of the undergarments we needed were available in the shops. It made me think if we can’t imitate what Jennifer did then what’s the best colour of bra that we should buy then?
Good thing there are shows now like Oprah, Tyra and America’s Next Top Model. They have episodes wherein they give people advice about buying the right undergarments. They said that the best colour of undergarment that all women should have is nude. Nude is the colour most similar to our skin. Why nude? Nude according to them will compliment all colours of the wardrobe we have. We can even use it on see-through apparel and works best when we are wearing white. White on white, which is the common mistake women do, only makes the undergarment more obvious rather than doing the opposite.

Good Sheperd’s Ube Jam
Every time we go up to Baguio we always drop by Good Sheperd Convent along Gibraltar Road in Mines View. We particularly go there not only for the nice view they have but mainly for their well known ube jam. It’s the best ube jam we’ve tasted so far. It has a smooth even consistency and flavour. You won’t find any lump and it’s always freshly made unlike the other ube jams in the market. It’s very addicting. You can even eat it on its own.
Next time you go up there you be sure to try it. It’s a great “pasalubong” or gift you can bring home to your friends and family. They also sell other products such as cashew and peanut brittle, strawberry and coco jam, and fruit preserves. Most of the time there are lots of tourists lining up to buy their products so the earlier you can go there the more chance you’ll have on purchasing their famous products.
F.Y.I. Their products are made by the Good Sheperd nuns. The proceeds they get are given to the charities they sponsor and for the maintenance of their convent. You can also find their products at Baguio Public Market and many other outlets in the city.

Fisher and Paykel Refrigerator
A few months ago our long time refrigerator broke down so we were forced to buy a new one. My mom’s friend recommended the Fisher and Paykel brand. What to Wear When Shopping in Divisoria
Christmas is just around the corner. As they say Filipinos celebrate Christmas for months. Now it’s already almost December so more and more people start their Christmas shopping to make sure that they’ll complete their Christmas list. Others shop at the malls located near their homes but a good number of people opt to go to Divisoria, Filipinos shopping haven. What some of us are not aware of is that 168 Shopping Mall in Divisoria is now a Department of Tourism accredited tourist shop. Yup don’t be surprised that when you go inside the 168 Mall that you’ll see tourists and foreigners around.
For the first timers who have no idea what should they wear when shopping there, here are my recommendations. Divisoria is like a market so expect that outside the malls where other street vendors are located it won’t look spic and span. Surely there will be alot of people. It will definitely be noisy and at times muddy.
If you will be concerned about your precious feet then wearing slippers and sandals is so not advised. Wear something that will protect your feet like rubber shoes and other closed shoes since with the volume of people you’ll encounter there might be occasions that someone will accidentally step on your foot. Be sure that your footwear will also be very comfortable especially if you are determined to go around all the mall stalls and go mall hopping.
Should you wear a tank top, a blouse or a shirt? Pants, shorts or skirt? Inside the malls there w
ill usually be an airconditioning system, but if you’ll go outside and checkout other areas it will probably be hot except maybe during rainy days. A shirt is more advisable. If you plan to wear a sleeveless shirt or a tank top that are kind of revealing think twice. If you’re the type that is conscious about other people starring at your body then just choose a modest sleeveless shirt. Same thing about wearing shorts and mini skirts. If you don’t care about some men hooting at you then perhaps you can wear short shorts and mini skirts, but if you can just put on one with a longer length. Pants is the best suitable garment. It’s the most reasonable since it can shied you from dirt and grime.
It’s not that I’m threatening you but your bag should also be thought of. Leave your real deal bags behind. Use belt and body bags instead or anything that can be worn in front . Pickpockets might be around so always be aware and alert .
Bear in mind the simpler your clothes/outfit will be the more chance you’ll have in getting a bigger discount. In fact if you don’t put on any jewelery it would definitely be in your advantage and safety. Remember you are going to Divisoria not a club or a party.
F.Y.I. Quiapo and Baclaran are also like Divisoria so anything that can be worn there can be worn in those two places.
